My name is Gabriel Bronfman, and I am Graduate Robotics Engineering student at NYU Tandon School of Engineering. I am a passionate software engineer with a focused skillset on perception and navigation for robotic solutions. I have a 3.95 GPA with courses focusing on deep learning, computer vision, and navigation, along with one years industrial experience and multiple internships.
I am currently pursuing my thesis under the advisement of Dr. Joo Kim's, in the Applied Dynamics and Optimization Lab. My work focuses on bringing intuitive operator controls for humanoid robots into the Augmented Reality space. I am currently open to internships and full time positions starting summer 2024 after my graduation.
Outside of my official school work, I am a robot design lead for the extracurricular Ultraviolets. Ultraviolets is a competetive robotics competition club that competes in DJI's yearly RoboMaster competition. I lead 20 other students in designing the software and hardware for a fully autonomous robot, which has to navigate a changing landscape, make tactical decisions, and selectively fire at targeted robots.
